Vada Pav or Pav Bhaji?
Pav Bhaji - it's a sin to pass Chowpatty and not stop at Sukh Sagar for their mouth watering, yummy Pav Bhaji. That's one time I don't even look or ask how much and what all goes into making it feel like heaven to your taste buds.
Rickshaw or Kaali Peeli?
Rickshaw. Find them anywhere, anytime, any nook and corner. Except when you are at 4 bungalows and ask for Versova and the rickshawallah feels offended and takes off without as much acknowledging your little mortal self.
Juhu beach or Bandra Bandstand?
Bandstand. Just for the vibe. It's great out there, and there is a shawarma stall I like in a little corner.

Gateway of India or Marine Drive?
Marine drive. Walking on the Queen's necklace is such a Mumbai thing to do. I don't get to do that elsewhere. Also, fewer pigeons.
Local train or BEST bus?
Trains get you to the destination faster. I remember getting stuck in traffic because of a road block enroute Mira road for a shoot and would have been delayed for eternity. Trains saved the day, and time.
Tapri ki chai or Sol Kadhi?
Sol kadhi. Tasty and healthy too.
Watching a play at Prithvi theatre or watching a movie at Gaiety Galaxy?
Both! You can't compare apples to oranges. While Prithvi Theatre has the legacy of some of the greatest of all time performing here, Gaiety Galaxy have made superstars out of unknown faces. The audience here is unlike any other. You have officially made it in films when the audience in Gaiety Galaxy have accepted you.
Favourite place in Mumbai?
The Sea Link. A drive there makes you feel free of the day's weight. Put on your favourite songs and it transports you to another realm. Wouldn't mind driving back and forth late nights just to take it all in!
Favourite restaurant in the city?
Favourite restaurant would have to be, La Loca Maria in Bandra. It's by far the tastiest food I've eaten. Whether it's the burger or the mushroom balls. Dang I'm salivating right now! But I must say I've loved the service. And its hygiene standards are top notch.
The Mumbai lingo you use the most?
Pakka, khali peeli, wat lag gayi, dhakkan.
What do you love most about the city?
It's my karma bhoomi. This is the place I had manifested from Dubai since I first watched SRK and Kajol in DDLJ. I wanted to be in an YRF film. Which I eventually did with Luv Ka The End. It's a city of dreams, and I am living mine as we speak.
