Sharib Hashmi on Family Man 3 co-star Manoj Bajpayee: ‘He is rediscovering himself every day’

Manoj Bajpayee has started shooting for his much-awaited series Family Man 3 this year. The series stars Bajpayee along with Sharib Hashmi. As the duo started shooting for the series, Sharib Hashmi has shared that the first day on the set was like a celebration.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Hashmi shared, "The first day on the set was like a celebration and reunion of sorts. Shrikanth Tiwari's (Bajpayee's character) full personal and professional family, including Priyamani (actor), his on-screen kids, and people from the task force, were there. My excitement was on seventh heaven."

The actor further said that he craves to shoot with Manoj Bajpayee and he has learned a lot from him. Hashmi, while talking about Manoj Bajpayee, keeps discovering new things shared, "I cherish every moment with Manoj sir. Main tadapta hun Manoj sir ke saath shoot karne ke liye, mujhe pata hai saath mein hum machayenge. I learn a lot from him on and off the screen, especially from his discipline towards work and life. Uska bas 5 percent bhi aa jaye mere andar to zindagi safal ho jaye meri. He is rediscovering and reinventing himself every day."

Earlier, streaming giant Prime Video took to Instagram and shared a picture of the clapboard alongside an image of the cast to announce the shoot of Family Man 3. The post was captioned: "#TFM3W us - shoot begins, drop your excitement."

For those unversed, ‘The Family Man' is an action thriller web series that revolves around Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class man who works as a spy for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional branch of the National Investigation Agency. While dealing with the pressures of his secretive job, Srikant struggles to balance his professional life with his duties as a husband and father. The series explores themes of terrorism, espionage, and family dynamics, offering a gripping storyline with twists and turns. It's known for its intense action sequences, complex characters, and realistic portrayal of espionage operations in India.

The first season, which premiered in 2019, stars Priyamani, Sharad Kelkar, Neeraj Madhav, Sharib Hashmi, Dalip Tahil, Sunny Hinduja, and Shreya Dhanwanthary. Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu joined the cast in the second season.
