Bhupendra Jadawat has started filming for the eagerly awaited Prime Video series alongside Vijay Varma, 'Matka King'. The actor shared this news on June 17th via an Instagram story. Set in 1960s Mumbai, this crime-thriller is directed by national award-winner Nagaraj Manjule and produced under the banner of Roy Kapur Films.
Reflecting on this, Jadawat shared, "Just conversing with a talent powerhouse like Nagaraj sir, the visionary director, and Siddharth sir, the experienced producer, I'm sure I'm in for a journey of inspiration and growth as an actor. It's a privilege to collaborate with such creative giants."
As Jadawat gears up for this new role, along with Vijay Varma, fans eagerly await further announcements regarding the project, additional cast members, and production details. The poster of 'Matka King' is already giving us thrills!
Notably, Sai Tamhankar has been cast opposite Vijay Varma for the web series 'Matka King'. The project marks her first collaboration with director Nagraj Manjule and Vijay. Admitting that working with the filmmaker has been on her wishlist, she reportedly said, "I've been vocal about it in interviews and on social media. I am excited and nervous to work with him." Declining to reveal anything about her role and the plot, she said, "All in all, it's a sudden breeze of excitement and thrill in my life right now."
