Recently, actress Shilpa Shetty revealed how former IPS officer Kiran Bedi was her inspiration behind playing a cop in the Indian Police Force. Now with this revelation, Shilpa received a special something from Kiran Bedi herself. India's first woman IPS officer responded to Shilpa on social media and wrote, "Very Generous of you Shilpa Shetty. Most grateful for your kind words. Wish you well. Am looking forward to watching the show."
Elated with this, Shilpa also replied, saying, "Thank you for always inspiring me and for setting such a fantastic example of what a fierce, brave, and passionate officer looks like, Kiran Ji much love!"

Talking about Kiran Bedi, Shilpa had earlier said, "Kiran Bediji has such a gravitas, a fierce personality. She was so passionate about what she did when she was in that position, hence I have a huge amount of respect for her. She also has a great sense of humor, there is a certain way Kiranji speaks, that was always there in my head."
On 16 December, 2023, Prime Video launched the heart-pounding teaser of the series. The teaser was high on action, suspense, thrill, and drama. The series promises an entertainment extravaganza giving audiences worldwide an immersive journey into the next chapter of Rohit Shetty's cop universe.
Shilpa will be the first female cop in Rohit Shetty's cop verse. 'Indian Police Force', which will be out on Amazon Prime Video, aims to pay an ode to the "selfless service, unconditional commitment and fierce patriotism" of police personnel across the country. Apart from Sidharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty, Vivek Oberoi, Shweta Tiwari, Nikitin Dheer, Rituraj Singh, Mukesh Rishi and Lalit Parimoo will also be seen in pivotal roles in 'Indian Police Force', which will be out on Prime Video on January 19.
