One look at the diverse roles which have been played by actor Amol Parashar, then, it seems that âversatility' can rightly be his middle name. Be it him playing the delivery guy in âDolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare' or Bhagat Singh in âSardar Udham', a wedding planner in âFeels Like Ishq', and the very Chitvan in âTVF Tripling', Amol has always aced all his roles. Speaking of âTVF Tripling', Mid-Day caught up with Amol for an exclusive interview on the occasion of the show's third season.

When asked about if any similarity exists between his character Chitwan and him in real life, Amol said, "Well... when I read Chitwan for the first time, I thought there was nothing in common between me and that character because he was wild and I am not. I am sensible and intelligent while he is quirky but not very intelligent. Soon after I got under his skin and started rehearsing, workshopping, it brought me closer to the character. I started discussing with my friends and they believed that there was a little bit of Chitwan in me which was amusing to know as I had never discovered it but they insisted that side does exists".
He continued, "They noticed few qualities of Chitwan in me and later I too could relate with those. He has a strong sense of freedom, just like me. He likes to do his own thing and that's me in real life. Of course, I don't do crazy things but I am impulsive in most of the situations. Just like Chitwan, I don't like anybody dictating my life and this is where I see resemblance. Deep down, he desires to be liked and looks for everyone's happiness. There are times he fails, times he succeeds and times when he ends up doing something stupid and crazy but strives to keep everyone happy. He loves his family but is unable to express it and that is something I relate with too".
