Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi
After Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 was pulled off the air and made into a web series, now the upcoming third season of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi will also drop digitally. The Erica Fernandes and Shaheer Sheikh-starrer was a big draw due to their on-screen chemistry in the love saga.
The buzz is that they will return to reprise their characters of Sonakshi and Dev. Producers Yash and Mamta Patnaik are in the midst of pre-production and the show is slated to go on the floors soon.
Years ago when the popular TV soap Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka moved to OTT, the Telly audience thought that it was a one-off thing. However, the time has changed and how. A host of television shows, in recent months, have followed suit. Popular shows such as Jamai Raja, Ishq Mein Marjawan and Qubool Hai have ditched the tube for the digital screen.

Actors Ravi Dubey and Nia Sharma star in the show that was very successful on TV with the same cast and ran for a period of almost three years. A digital spin-off of the popular television show Jamai Raja, the first season of Jamai 2.0 aired in 2019. The thriller returned with its much-awaited sequel on February 26 with Prakhar Toshniwal essaying the role of DD's son and Roshini's brother Ajit Patel, who was introduced as the plot's central character in the first season. The sequel revolves around Ajit Patel as Sid determines to find him and seek revenge for his sister's murder.
Qubool Hai was a very popular show on the tube and it starred actors Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti in 2012. Qubool Hai 2.0 is the sequel with the same lead cast. An initiative to bring back some of the most iconic ZEE TV shows by releasing a digital spin-off for an OTT release, a move that fans have appreciated and loved in abundance.
Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 was on air when it decided to move to OTT mid-season. The makers roped in actor Ankit Siwach for the same. The show had a cliffhanger ending on TV.
