Ayesha Raza: We age women very fast in Bollywood

Sutliyan's cast Ayesha, Plabita Borthakur, Shiv Pandit and Vivaan Shah join mid-day.com as they discuss their experiences during the pandemic, bonding as an onscreen family and more.

Ayesha who plays the matriarch, speaks about being offered mother's parts though she is in her early 40s. She says, "We age women very fast in Bollywood, there's a grandchild involved in the series and I'm really not that old. It was such a beautiful part and I had the opportunity to headline the show with such beautiful actors so you take these opportunities. Eventually you are an actor but if you tell me to play such a role in an ad I may not."
