As Ekta Kapoor's son Ravie turned two on January 27, 2021, the producer hosted as grand bash in Juhu, Mumbai. The party was attended by who's who of tinsel town. Ekta welcomed her son via surrogacy in 2019.

Ekta's brother Tusshar Kapoor also attended Ravie Kapoor's birthday party with his four-year-old son, Laksshya. Tusshar welcomed his son Laksshya through IVF and surrogacy in 2016.
