Like everyone right now, actor Ankita Lokhande is all excited about Ganesh Chaturthi. She began the festivities in full swing as she brought Bappa home. She and her mother were spotted visiting pandals to get the Ganesha idol in Mumbai.
While taking Bappa home, Ankita extended best wishes to her fans. Speaking to the media, she said, "When Ganpati Bappa comes, he brings happiness. I hope with all my heart that whatever your wishes are, they get fulfilled. Ganpati Bappa Moraya.."
Tina Datta kickstarted the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi by bringing Bappa home. “It’s like reconnecting with an old friend who brings love, peace, and boundless happiness into our lives,” she wrote on Instagram.
“This is not just a festival but a reunion with the divine as his presence brings a sense of peace and happiness that only he can provide,” added Tina.
Actor-comedian Bharti Singh was joined by son Laksh popularly known as Golla to bring Lord Ganesha home.
She covered the face of the idol as per ritual and was photographed by the paparazzi amid the festive fervor.
Actress Deepshikha Nagpal was also spotted performing puja as she readied her idol of Bappa on the auspicious occasion.
Actor Arjun Bijlani fulfilled his mandatory annual ritual of bringing Bappa home. He was all smiles on the occasion.
Arjun wore a bright yellow kurta, radiating positivity and happiness as he carried the idol to his residence.
Singer Palak Muchhal continued the tradition of bringing Ganpati Bappa home.
She was spotted in a saffron kurta and was all smiles carrying the idol to her residence.
Sharad Malhotra was all smiles as he carried the idol of Lord Ganesha in his arms on his way home.
He was also among his contemporaries performing puja at the workshop where the idol was sculpted.
