Rahul Mahajan: The sympathy that Rahul received following his politician father's shocking killing was short-lived. A month after Pramod Mahajan's death, Rahul was hospitalised and later arrested, for an alleged cocaine overdose. He has had two marriages, and both wives accused him of domestic violence. Rahul appeared on Season 2. In November 2018, Rahul got married again to Kazakhstan model, Natalya Ilina.

Dolly Bindra: Bigg Boss season 4's most popular celebrity Dolly Bindra created many controversies. Dolly had made many unscrupulous allegations against contestant Shweta Tiwari, who emerged as the Season's winner. Apart from accusing and abusing Shweta, she also tried to taint her image. Dolly even got into a heated argument with other inmates such as Samir Soni, Khali and Ashmit Patel and offended them with her maligning remarks. Before Dolly's entry, the show's TRPs were moving at a snail's pace, but her lunging, growling and barking set the TRPs soaring like anything. Loud-mouth Dolly's obscene comments even reached the ears of the information and the broadcasting ministry which sent them a notice. Dolly has often been part of controversies even after leaving the Bigg Boss house.

Kushal Tandon: Season 7 contestant Kushal Tandon also made waves while in the Bigg Boss house. He fought with other contestants and Salman Khan reprimanded him. Inside the house, his relationship with Gauahar Khan kept the rumour mills buzzing.

Sara Khan: Season 4's contestant Sara Khan did what no one has done in the Bigg Boss show till date. Sara married her boyfriend Ali Merchant in Bigg Boss house! They got married by performing all the rituals. But, after they left the house, they separated. Sara claimed that the channel had paid her money to stage the marriage.

Ratan Rajput: Bigg Boss Season 7 contestant Ratan Rajput made a lot of headlines with the show 'Ratan Rajput Ka Rishta'. Ratan also created her own 'Swayamvar' through this show and also got engaged with Abhinav Sharma, although Ratan broke the engagement after a few months.

Pooja Misrra: Pooja Misrra, who appeared in Season 5, quarrelled with every single contestant in the house that season. Her favourite line 'Spare me' had become quite famous. After the show was over, her videos where she was fighting with the hotel staff and using abusive language in flight had become viral.

Swami Om: The name is enough to remind fans of what the self-proclaimed godman did in the house to stay in the news. The Season 10 contestant wooed the girls in the house, harassed them to stir up controversy. Even after coming out of the house, he found ways to create more controversies to stay in the spotlight.

Imam Siddique: Contestant Imam Siddique of Season 6 was called Rakhi Sawant's male version. Imam had stripped during a fight in the Bigg Boss house. Imam went as far as getting into a fight with the host Salman Khan, which didn't go down well for him.

Akashdeep Saigal: Akashdeep Saigal aka Sky had raised fingers on Salman Khan. In the show, he used to fight with other contestants too.

Rahul Bhatt: Mahesh Bhatt's son came into the limelight when it was revealed that he had befriended 26/11 terrorist David Headley at a Mumbai gym. He stepped in Season 4 and popped many eyeballs.

Nihita Biswas: She is the wife of Charles Sobhraj, one of the most dreaded serial killers in the world, also referred to as the 'bikini killer'. She raised eyeballs when she entered Season 5.

Veena Malik: The Pakistani actress created a furore back home after she appeared topless on the cover of a magazine. Malik, who has appeared in a few bold roles in B-Grade Hindi flicks, was also in an abusive relationship with tainted Pakistan cricketer Mohamad Asif. Veena entered the Bigg Boss House in Season 4.

Ashmit Patel: He's done pretty little as an actor, and only made news when an MMS clip allegedly featuring him and then-girlfriend Riya Sen in a compromising position started doing the rounds. Ashmit hit headlines again while on Season 4.

Kamaal Rashid Khan: He was in Season 3. The actor-producer's film Deshdrohi, based on attacks on North Indians in Mumbai, irked the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, and led to violent protests against the film. He is still known to be one of the most controversial celebrities in B-town.

Raja Chaudhary: The ex-husband of popular TV actress Shweta Tiwari, Chaudhary has always been in the news for the wrong reasons. He has been arrested for creating ruckus outside Tiwari's house, slapping girlfriend Shraddha Sharma, and so on. Raja was part of Bigg Boss Season 2.

Monica Bedi: The alleged ex-girlfriend of gangster Abu Salem, who starred in a few unsuccessful films in the '90s, was arrested along with the don in 2002 in Portugal. She was one of the most popular contestants in Season 2.

Sherlyn Chopra: She was the first Indian model to pose nude on the cover of Playboy. Chopra has thrived on her controversial avatar. Before appearing on Bigg Boss season 3, Sherlyn did bold roles in films, and also posted provocative pics on Twitter. She now has her own website and app and has close to 2.5 million Instagram followers.

Sofia Hayat: Actress, singer and model Sofia Hayat had many fights in the Bigg Boss house in Season 7. When she came out of the house, she filed a police complaint against co-contestant Armaan Kohli. Sofia's controversies did not end there. She grabbed headlines by sharing her semi-nude photos on social media, later becoming a nun, followed by her marriage with Romanian model Vlad Stanescu and then they separated.

Rakhi Sawant: The outspoken item girl of Bollywood, Sawant gained entry into the Bigg Boss house (Season 1) following the controversy with Mika Singh. When it comes to hogging the limelight for the wrong reasons, Rakhi tops the list for her numerous controversial acts starting from her raunchy videos to her controversial stay on Bigg Boss and walking out of the Nach Baliye finale in a huff.
