Toral Rasputra started off as a model with advertisements for brands including Amul and Shoppers Stop.

At age 19, Toral Rasputra bagged her first Television show - Rishton Ki Dor (2006), featuring Anuj Saxena and Urvashi Dholakia. However, Toral had little to do in the show.

In 2007, Toral Rasputra made her television debut as a lead character with Disney Channel India's Dhoom Machaao Dhoom. Toral played Priyanka Sethi, who sings, composes and plays guitar - and a band which she formed with her three friends, the Pink Band.

Dhoom Machao Dhoom gave good recognition and fame to not only Toral but her other co-stars Sriti Jha, Kinshuk Mahajan, Maanvi Gagroo, Vikrant Massey and Jay Bhanushali, who are now one of the most popular actors of the film and television industry.

In 2009, Toral Rasputra starred in daily soap Kesariya Balam Aavo Hamare Des, where she played the character of Rasal (sister of female lead Rukmini). Her role, however, went unnoticed.

In 2011, Toral Rasputra also starred in the show Ek Nayi Chhoti Si Zindagi, which was based on the lives of two orphan sisters, Isha and Ira. However, the show didn't last long.

In 2013, tables turned for Toral Rasputra's career, which was almost about to sink. Late Pratyusha Banerjee, who was playing the grown-up Anandi in TV show Balika Vadhu, was replaced by the channel her replacement was none other than Toral.

Toral Rasputra grabbed enough attention through her show Balika Vadhu and it wouldn't be wrong to say that the show gave her the much-needed boost in her career.

While her career simply started shaping up in a positive way, on the personal note she got married in 2012 to Dhaval, a businessman. But, the marriage didn't last long. Owing to compatibility issues, Toral and Dhaval had a troubled married life.

Toral Rasputra parted ways with her husband after five years of marriage. They were living separately since 2015 and in 2018 the couple finally got divorced.

Coming back to Toral's professional front, Toral bagged another show after Balika Vadhu. She played Bayaza Bai, a pivotal role in Sony Entertainment Television's Mere Sai, a show on Sai Baba.

While Toral said (during Mere Sai's promotional event) that she is not a very devotional person herself, these are two virtues she has learnt with time. "I feel these are very important and I can see I am becoming more patient day by day. Earlier, I used to get hyper and worked up if things don't work sometimes. And being an actor, you have to sometimes get used to this that after finishing certain projects, you might have to wait because there's no stability. You might have to wait or take a break to get something different and at the same time, you also want to grow as an actor... But now I am a little relaxed. I have more patience now," said Toral.

Meanwhile, Toral Rasputra also tried her hands in theatre. In 2017 she made a debut in a play titled I Love You Two. Toral played a character called Meera who is a married working woman.

Commenting about the difference between theatre and television Toral had said, "I got to know the difference in few days itself. TV is really easy compared to theatre. Firstly you are performing live and on TV you do in takes where you don't go to the next scene unless the director is satisfied. But in a play you only have one chance. You have to enact the whole story in just two hours. You have to be alert all the time. And also the rehearsals take a lot of time. You have to give all your time to the rehearsals."

Toral Rasputra is currently part of the mythological show Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki, a show that revolves around Mata Vaishno Devi's journey on earth, and narrates how she was destined to be the protector of earth.

Here's wishing a very happy birthday and good luck for her new show Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki!
