Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai has completed 3,000 episodes, and the cast celebrated the feat by sitting down together to watch the show. The saas-bahu drama had gone on air on September 11, 2008.

The show has witnessed a lot of changes over 11 years. It began with the story of Akshara and Naitik, played by Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, respectively.

On achieving this milestone, the cast and crew had a grand bash. Shivangi and Mohsin even took to Instagram to thank fans and the team, especially producer Rajan Shahi, for all the love.

Not only this, but the team of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai also celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi together, by welcoming lord Ganesh on the sets of the soap opera.

Earlier this month, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans took to social media to vent their anger about the sudden change in the track on the show. All hell broke loose when Kartik (Mohsin Khan) referred to Naira (Shivangi Joshi) as his ex-wife.
