The eighth week of Bigg Boss 14 turned out to be disastrous for Jaan Kumar Sanu. Jaan, who was the first contestant who was confirmed for the reality show was evicted in the eighth week. Talking about his journey in an interview post his elimination, Jaan said, "I was timid, innocent and believed that I had to adjust and co-exist with everyone in the house. Just because I was nice and trying to be friends with everyone, people thought that I never took a stand or had an identity. When asked about his differences with Nikki Tamboli and Eijaz Khan, Sanu stated, "Nikki Tamboli is a publicity hound and will do anything for attention. Her kissing me was also a publicity tactic to stay in the limelight on the show. She has no agenda, but to do anything for attention. Eijaz, on the other hand, is a good human being, but I feel on the show, he is too conscious of the fact that he has to keep the focus on him, otherwise he will lose brownie points. Otherwise, who wakes up at 5 am and starts checking other people's belongings? So, in the show, he is quite a different guy, playing his game and getting too aggressive at times."

For the other contestants, the eighth week began with a bang. Ekta Kapoor joined Salman Khan during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. She gave contestants a couple of tasks. The first one was given to the firebrand Kavita who had to put a red stamp on the faces of those contestants who she felt did not deserve to be competing with her. As captain, Kavita first choose Aly and branded him with the stamp. Next up was Jasmin, who changes the game and imitate Kavita as she described why Jasmin wasn't fit to compete with her. Her mimicry brought a smile to everyone's faces and even Salman complimented her for it!

They say revenge is a dish best served cold. In the Bigg Boss House, it was being served in the same way with huge foam smeared palms! In the next task, Ekta gave the housemates a chance to extract revenge on their fellow contestants. The housemates were given huge fake hands on which they had to spray foam and splash it across the face of those housemates whom they wished to seek revenge from.

Kavita was the first one to splash Aly and Jasmin's faces with the vengeful foam hands. She said the duo were behaving badly and creating negativity in the house. Aly on his part used both his chances to extract revenge with foamy hands, on Kavita! Next up Eijaz, too, decided to use both his chances for revenge on Kavita, and their rivalry continued.

Master host Salman Khan next took Rubina and Abhinav to the task. He said that Abhinav's actions in Bigg Boss made Rubina look bad. Salman also said that Abhinav always made his own image safe while his wife Rubina was made to look as the baddie! Rubina, too agreed to the fact that somewhere, her husband Abhinav, was making her look weak. It was a highly emotional moment for the couple as they realized the differences that were there between them.

Tuesday began with another bang (or should we say shock) for the contestants - The nomination task. The process is known to create fearsome rifts between the housemates as each one is busy planning and plotting to nominate the contestant they want out! This time too, it was no different. Bigg Boss gave a toy parrot attributed to each housemate and they had to further decide whose parrot they wanted to lock in a cage and nominate them.

Jasmin was determined to nominate Pavitra as she was disgusted with her attitude. Pavitra, in return, decided to lock Jasmin’s parrot by claiming that she was judgmental. Eijaz, Abhinav and Rahul engaged in a heated discussion about whom they wanted to nominate. Abhinav says he wished to nominate Rahul as he had been disrespectful towards his wife.

Eventually, Rahul went on to nominate Eijaz, and the two had a major clash. Eijaz blamed Rahul for not standing true to his word. Rahul, on the other hand, questioned Eijaz just what has he had done for him. Eijaz, surprisingly, nominated Abhinav and wanted to see him in the list of contestants up for eviction.

The next day, the task continued with an increase in ugly clashes. The clashes were so intense that Bigg Boss had to intervene. Bigg Boss lashed housemates for breaking rules. He immediately warned Captain Kavita Kaushik that she needed to take some action. With this in mind, Bigg Boss decided that the contestants breaking the rules will be taken to task. Kavita was instructed to give the personal belongings of the erring housemates to Bigg Boss. She had to drop them in a giant box that Bigg Boss had arranged.

Nikki told Kavita that Aly gave a bar of chocolate to Pavitra from the captain's items. Kavita took note of it and immediately dropping Aly's grooming items in the box provided by Bigg Boss. Aly got irritated because he said that Kavita should have asked him before dropping his personal belongings in the box. He took back his razor and trimmer, upsetting Kavita. Aly dared her to take back the items and the two got into an ugly war-of-words.

It got so escalated that Kavita complained to Bigg Boss that she wasn't feeling safe seeing Aly's aggressive behaviour. A teary-eyed Kavita was seen asking Bigg Boss to get her out of the house.

Thursday began with another high-level drama. Kavita began the day by taking Abhinav Shukla to task and waking him up to question him over the rules he broke. On seeing this, Rubina got upset and denied doing the breakfast and dinner duties for the day.

The couple also announced that they will not do the house duties until Kavita remains a captain! Rubina said that Kavita was behaving like a dictator instead of a captain, husband Abhinav supported her. Kavita Kaushik rubbished their blames and remained stubborn as a captain.

Next, Bigg Boss announced another exciting task for the housemates to claim the captaincy. Rubina and Jasmin had to pose as sisters and demand for their share in the property. The house got divided into two families and the two needed to keep their claim about which part of the house belongs to them. The final decision about who can rightfully claim which section of the house rested with Kavita who presided over the panchayat as the Mukhiya.

The kitchen and dining area was won by Jasmin and her family which consisted of Aly, Nikki, and Rahul. Kavita felt that their claim was stronger than Rubina’s team. Now, with owning control of the kitchen and dining area, Jasmin’s team was seen flouting their rights!

When Eijaz stepped into the kitchen, Nikki rudely asked him to get out of the area! Eijaz got irked and said he will not leave the dining area. Pavitra supported him and ended up clashing with Nikki as a new rivalry was seen emerging in the Bigg Boss House!

Friday saw a major controversy between Jasmin and Rubin. When Abhinav allowed Nikki to sleep inside the house as she is unwell, little did he know the can of worms that he was opening! Nikki went inside to sleep and started collecting the makeup stuff to which she did not had access. Eijaz, Abhinav, and Rubina asked her to leave the sleeping area on account of her actions, but Nikki remained unfazed. She brazenly defied each and every house member including her friend Pavitra and refused to move!

The next day, Abhinav acted as a human shield and placed himself firmly against the door so that Nikki could not enter the house again. Nikki was seen pushing the door but to no avail. Rubina got irked by Jasmin and Aly attacking Abhinav, and lashed out at Jasmin. She blamed her for talking behind her back and being fake towards her. Jasmin didn't took this laying down and said declared that their friendship is over.

The most surprising clash took place between Rubina and Abhinav, and it was not a normal argument. Rubina accused Abhinav of always listening to others instead of trusting his own wife's decision. Abhinav remained obstinate and the two entered into a teekha war of words.

The first casualty in the Bigg Boss 14 house, as the game heats up, are the relations that the contestants have forged. Friends are seen falling apart and even now husband and wife relations have hit a rocky patch. That's what is currently happening inside the Bigg Boss house as relationships are facing a major strain, particularly in the eighth week.
