Bigg Boss 13 contestant Dalljiet Kaur is a popular TV actress and single mother to her adorable son Jaydon. From starting off her career as a model to today being a household name thanks to her TV stints, Dalljiet has certainly come a long way. We take a look at her journey through some of her Instagram pictures.

Dalljiet Kaur, born on November 15, 1982, in Ludhiana, is a fierce actor and a doting mother. Dalljiet comes from a family of army personnel - her father is a retired colonel, while her two elder sisters are also in the defence services. (All pictures/Dalljiet Kaur's Instagram account)
A recently evicted Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Dalljiet Kaur also tried her hand at modelling. On the left is a picture of Dalljiet from her first photoshoot in Mumbai in 2009. The actress shared it on Instagram and wrote, "The one on the left was one of my very first photo shoots in Mumbai in 2009 and the one on the right is my most recent clicks... time flies and how..."
Dalljiet made her TV debut with the Zee drama, Manshaa, in 2004. This was followed by appearances in CID, Aahat and Raat Hone Ko Hai. Dalljiet apparently took four years to decide whether or not she should enter Bigg Boss. The actress, who has a son, Jaydon, with her ex-husband Shaleen Bhanot, didn't think it was ideal to leave the little boy alone.
In an interview with mid-day, Dalljiet said, "I was offered Bigg Boss quite a few years ago but my son was very small back then. At that time, I did not find it safe to leave him alone because he couldn't even communicate. Now that he is turning six, I feel it's the correct age where he speaks about things like - he's missing someone, or he's unsafe."
Dalljiet Kaur tied the knot with Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi actor Shaleen Bhanot in 2009, but the couple parted ways in 2015 after Dalljiet filed for a divorce accusing Shaleen of domestic violence.
When asked how she would react if Shaleen were to make an entry into the Bigg Boss 13 house, Dalljiet told mid-day, "I think I have entered this show after doing good shows in fourteen years of my career, and people want to know how is Dalljiet. I've had a very great journey. So, I think the audience is excited to see me as an individual, and I am in a very good phase of my life. I don't know, we can't speculate what will happen in the show."
Dalljiet became a household name after her stint in popular TV shows like Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. When asked if she quit Guddan... for Bigg Boss 13, Dalljiet said, "As of now, I have left the show for sure because there will be a gap of three months. When I return from the Bigg Boss house, I might join back, I don't know how it will go..."
Dalljiet further said, "I am very thankful to the makers and the channel for letting me go so beautifully knowing that it will do well for me. Not even once did they say that we will not let you go, they let me go peacefully."
Dalljiet Kaur is extremely close to her son Jaydon and her Instagram feed is filled with pictures and videos of the cutie pie.
The pretty actress is also good friends with Karishma Tanna and has quite a few pictures with her as well. Also pictured in this photo are actors Vivek Dahiya and Manraj Singh Sharma. Dalljiet captioned this image as: "In every phase of life.... we meet new people... some connect n some don't... it is a matter of luck to meet equally crazy people in the same show who connected instantly. love u guys @karishmaktanna @manraj_sin and @vivekdahiya. cheers to more craziness to follow! P.s @divyankatripathidahiya u r missed ... so better come next time!! Muah!!! (sic)"
Recently, on an episode of Bigg Boss 13, co-contestant Siddharth Dey tried to equate his situation with Dalljiet Kaur's son Jaydon, asking her how she would feel if this happened to him. On the unwarranted mention of her son, the usually calm Dalljiet lost her cool and told Siddharth to never mention her son again. This just goes to show that Dalljiet is a fierce and protective mum to her little one.
The Kulvaddhu actress even has her son's name tattooed on her arm! Dalljiet spoke about the tattoo in an old interview. She said, "I take this seriously, and not as a fad. I think that a tattoo is the only thing you take to the grave, and I will be more than happy to take my son's name with me." Lovely, isn't it?
Well, we wish Dalljiet and Jaydon the best in everything they do!
