Asim Riaz rose to fame when he entered Bigg Boss 13 as the "vanilla" boy, flaunting his perfectly chiselled body and rapping skills.
However, with his constant verbal spats with the other housemates, Asim Riaz gradually became more famous as the angry young lad of Bigg Boss 13 house. His constant fights with fellow inmates - Sidharth Shukla caught everyone's attention.
Asim Riaz, after entering Bigg Boss 13 house, first caught attention when he got into a fight with fellow housemate Paras Chhabra. It all started when co-contestant Mahira Sharma ended up calling Asim her "brother", because both of them hail from Jammu and Kashmir, at the launch of the show in September 2019.
Just a few days away from Bigg Boss 13 finale, Asim Riaz again caught everyone's attention when he got Hollywood star John Cena rooting for his victory. After posting a picture of Asim on Instagram without any caption, Cena once again shared a picture of Asim. The second time, the image had the hashtag 'Asim Riaz For The Win' written on it.
Asim Riaz currently has a fan following of 3.7 million on Instagram! He emerged as the first runner up of Bigg Boss 13.
After Bigg Boss stint, Asim Riaz collaborated with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez for a music video - Mere Angne Mein.
In 2020, Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana announced that the lovebirds will be seen on-screen in a love song, titled "Kalla Sohna Hai". The track was sung by Neha Kakkar and its music was given by Rajat Nagpal.
Asim has seen a lot of struggle, in his early days of career. There were times when Asim used to not have enough money to hire a taxi to go for an audition. Very few know that Asim Riaz has featured in Bollywood film as well. In 2014, Asim had a small role in the Varun Dhawan-starrer Main Tera Hero.
In the film, there is a scene where Asim Riaz with a group of boys is seen getting involved in a fight with Varun Dhawan. In the action sequence, Asim runs towards Varun with a hockey stick but Dhawan hits him and he falls flat on the floor.
Quite recently, Asim Riaz took another huge step forward by buying a brand new swanky car that will make your jaw drop for sure. He bought himself the BMW 5 Series M Sports in Delhi and shared the exciting news with his fans on social media. Sharing some pictures, Asim wrote, "I'm extremely happy today to get my DREAM CAR. new beast - BMW 5 Series M Sports that I bought from The Car Mall, Delhi."
On June 28, Asim Riaz's third music video was out. He was seen along with Punjabi singer Barbie Maan. Singer Guru Randhawa has lent support to Maan by writing and composing her romantic track, Teri Gali.
Asim has been inundated with offers after Bigg Boss 13. On the Bollywood front, it is said that Asim Riaz has been approached to play one of the three brothers of Salman Khan in Farhad Samji's Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.
Asim might have missed winning the Bigg Boss trophy, but he won hearts and garnered a wide fan following.
