Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao, who were co-contestants in the ninth season of the reality show Bigg Boss, knew each other prior to their entry on the show. After being friends for over a year, they started dating and barely three months later the couple entered the house.

'I don't have a straight answer on how the show will affect our relationship. But I would like to come out stronger. We will face tough situations from time to time and hope to deal with it and come out stronger,' Keith said before entering the ninth season of the popular reality TV show 'Bigg Boss Nau' with Rochelle.

Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao became popular as a house-jodi during their stint in the Bigg Boss 9 house. And their relationship survived the journey of the controversial show as well!

After the show, Keith Sequeira said in a statement, 'Rochelle and I understand each other very well. We were together on Big Boss 9 and we have survived through all the ups and downs in our lives.'

In March 2016, Keith Sequeira announced that they were meeting each other's family for a better understanding. 'We know which way we are headed, and we are just sticking to it. She is going to meet my parents and I am going to meet her parents... So we are trying to get to know the families, get to know each other, what are the important things in each other's life. Once we go through all of that, then we will put it together,' Keith told IANS.

Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao's relationship grew steadily from friendship, dating, to their eventual engagement and then marriage. The couple got engaged in 2017, on Valentine's Day.

In an Instagram post, Rochelle Rao shared three things she loves about Keith Sequeira.

1. How patient and kind he is with me and the world!

2. His silly sense of humour that can make me laugh at my angriest, smile at my saddest and make me want to kill him when he embarrasses me.

3. He never judges me or other people! It gives me the freedom to be myself 100%

Keith Sequeira praised Rochelle Rao as being an emotionally strong woman who has constantly supported him through his ups and downs.

In March 2018, Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao got secretly married in a private ceremony sans the entire hullabaloo of a 'celebrity wedding'. The couple got hitched in Tamil Nadu's Mahabalipuram on March 4.

Announcing the news on social media, Rochelle shared, 'Found my Prince Charming @keithsequeira #KeRoGetsHitched'

Keith Sequeira was previously married to actress Samyukta Singh from 2005 to 2011 before he started dating Rochelle Rao.

Keith Sequeira hails from Delhi, has a degree in arts and has studied fashion design. Rochelle Rao holds a BSc. Electronic Media Degree from M.O.P Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. She was crowned Femina Miss India International in 2012.

Keith Sequeira and Rochelle Rao consider themselves best friends rather than a couple. Rochelle has stated in an interview that their bond of friendship is still strong.
