Hi Payal... Today is 'World Internet Day 2022'. When was the first time you learnt about the internet?
It was in school. I was in sixth or seventh standard I guess. And, I had learnt to create my Gmail account.
Who taught you the basics of internet?
I learnt it from my father. He is drawn to tech and he would always take me through the new inventions and discoveries that happen around us.
Have you taught your parents or anyone about how to use the internet?
In fact, as I said, it was my father who taught me. I have taught to quite a few. I taught the basics of Gmail to my house help, my driver. I tell it to anyone who seem to be needing help with it.

What are the âgenres' of websites do you generally visit?
I visit a lot of e commerce shopping website. I visit gadget review websites and I also read quite a bit online. That's why I visit a few blogging websites as well.
Which is your frequently visited website?
It has to be Amazon and Netflix.

What is the one thing that you like about the internet? And why?
The ease of connection that the internet provides and the way it equals the playing space is something I love.
What is the one thing that you DO NOT like/ hate about the internet? And why?
The fact that people can spread hatred, lies and scam others with the level of ease because of the internet. I hate that.
Can you imagine a world without the internet?
Absolutely not. We are in the middle of a brilliant tech revolution. The world is changing by the day due to the internet and everything is getting updated. So high speed internet and not just internet is a need for me.
.In a day, how many hours are you online?
I think I would be online 3-4 hours on days when I am not shooting and when I am shooting it would be little time I could find.
Do you panic if your internet gets shut down for a minute?
I actually don't. It acts like a mini break sometimes. I need the internet but it is not everything for me.
Are you an internet addict?
I can't call myself that. I definitely need it. But, I am good otherwise too.
