Ekta Kapoor, among many other celebrities, has strongly condemned the physical assault seen in the video, shared by Shweta Tiwari on her Instagram handle.
On Monday, Shweta Tiwari shared a CCTV footage allegedly showing her ex-husband Abhinav Kohli in her residential society. In the video, Abhinav is seen forcefully snatching away his child, Reyansh from Shweta. In another video, shared by the actress, one can see the little kid, all scared, supposedly by the incident.
Shweta Tiwari wrote a long post on Instagram, along with the video, in defence to the allegations that Abhinav had made, earlier this week.
"Now let the truth Come out!!!! (But this is not going to stay forever on my account, I will eventually delete it, I am posting this right now to reveal the truth,then it goes off) This is why my Child is scared of him! After this incident my child was scared for more than a month, he was so scared that he would not even sleep properly at Night! His hand hurt for more than 2 weeks. Even now he is scared of his papa coming home or meeting him. I can't let my Child go Through this mental trauma.. I try my best to keep him calm and happy! But this Horrible Man makes sure my baby's mental health goes back to Square one! If this is not Physical abuse then what is!!!!?? It is the CCTV footage of my society," wrote the actress.

Reacting to Shweta's post, Ekta Kapoor commented, "Why is this guy not arrested?", while Anita Hassanandani mentioned, "Unreal".
Varun Sood, who is currently with Shweta Tiwari in Cape Town for Khatron Ke Khiladi - 11, wrote, "This guy should be behind bars!! You are one strong woman".
Srishty Rode dropped a comment, which read, "This is super sad! Stay Strong ðÂÂÂðÂÂȉ¤ï¸Â," while Ridhima Pandit wrote, "Oh My God Shweta ð¢... Be strong.. A mother always knows what's best."
Ashmit Patel, who was part of the Bigg Boss 4 with Shweta Tiwari, wrote, "Stay strong sister. Sending you love and light ðÂÂÂð½ðÂÂÂð½ðÂÂÂð½â¤ï¸Ââ¤ï¸Ââ¤ï¸Â", while Kishwer Merchantt, commented, "Omg !!! And everyone is just standing and watching !!!"
Shweta Tiwari's post was a reaction to her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli's video, he posted a few days ago, asking people to help him find son Reyansh. The post came a day after Tiwari left for Cape Town for the shoot of Khatron Ke Khiladi. Kohli claimed he did not want her to take up the assignment and leave their son alone, while Tiwari claimed their son is with her family. Sharing a video with fans on Instagram, he asked for help and talked about his plight.
