WE wrestler Aaron W Reed in TV show Porus

International wrestler Aaron W. Reed will be joining Siddharth Kumar Tewary and Rahul Kumar Tewary' Porus on Sony. Co-producer Rahul Kumar Tewary says that Reed will be playing the role of a Persian mercenary in the show. "He is already in India and shooting with us," confirms Rahul.

The star cast, as well as the crew, stays in Umbergaon, which is where Reed is put up as well. "There are some special requirements like diet food, gym, protein supplements etc, which are being taken care of, but nothing out of the box. In fact, we provide these facilities to our existing set of people even today. I am sure that if there is any other requirement, that will also be easily handled by the team," he says, adding, "We anyway look after everything for our cast and crew. This will not be any different for us."

Talking about how Reed came on board, he says, "We were looking for a person who can live up to the character. Our casting team has been very effective in short listing actors for all the characters. Once we profiled him, we were absolutely sure about him. I am sure it will be a visual treat for our viewers and a very pleasant experience for Aaron."

Rahul is ecstatic at the feedback the show has been getting. "Porus is our dream project and we are very happy that it has been liked and appreciated by the viewers. In fact, most of the people we meet have highly appreciated the content and are religiously watching the show. Apart from the praise which we have received for the show, it is definitely the most valuable work of Swastik till now and the entire team of Swastik along with the actors and crew have put in a lot of effort for us to achieve success," he says.

Porus is one of the most talked about shows for its unique content and presentation.
