Vidhi Pandya
Vidhi Pandya who was last seen on Bigg Boss 15, features in Sony's new show âMose Chhal Kiye Jaaye' that went on air this week. The actress speaks about the concept of the show and her thoughts about marriage.
Your show âMose Chhal Kiye Jaaye' is about a girl who is looking to fulfill her dreams and aspirations post marriageâ¦
I do relate to wanting to live my dreams after marriage and that's something we are trying to normalize through our show, âMose Chhal Kiye Jaaye.' Women can work before and after marriage, she can balance her life. If marriage is an institution for two people, even the man should be involved in household duties, along with his work. These are exactly the things I want in my marriage.
What was it that appealed to you most about the show?
The intention to normalize things that are actual normal but not considering so in our country. Dikhave ke log hai yahan pe. People pretend to be modern but they are not! We are highlighting the true colours of such people.
What is your rapport with you onscreen husband and co-star Vijayendra Kumeria?
He's great, we have worked together before and know each other since six years. He makes me feel at ease, we share a friendly equation.

What are your thoughts about marriage and what would an ideal relationship be like?
I love the concept of marriage when it's with the right person. We should make our life beautiful together and give each other space. He works, I work and when we come home together we are one. We have to respect each other's decision even if we disagree. There shouldn't be any controlling, the sense of individuality needs to be maintained.
What is a deal breaking for you?
Disrespecting my family and me, the way I am and my career. Using terms like âI give you permission to do this.' Nobody needs permission; we must respect the other person's opinion and take a call together.
