Nakuul Mehta/ Swanky by Jovel Fernandes
âBade Achhe Lagte Hain 2' actor Nakuul Mehta is a true Mumbaikar, from Juhu beach to Mumbai rains it's all on his list of favourites.
Vada Pav or Pav Bhaji?
Pav Bhaji because that's just mashed Vada Pav and easier on the intestines unless you do Masala Pao!
Rickshaw or Kaali Peeli?
Rickshaws because it's the middle class convertible and reminds you of all the good times in Mumbai rains when you'd try your best to not get splashed!
Juhu beach or Bandra Bandstand?
Juhu beach because that's where home is. Geographically and metaphorically!

Gateway of India or Marine Drive?
Marine Drive because I grew up there and also proposed to my then girlfriend for marriage. She is now my wife!
Local train or BEST bus?
Trains over bus. They remind me of making the trek to town to St Xavier's to meet my girlfriend and the anticipation of that meeting is what is beautiful. It reminds me of Mumbai locals!
Tapri ki chai or Sol Kadhi?
Tapri ka Bun Maska always!
Favourite restaurant in the city?
China Garden because it reminds me of meals I couldn't afford, the fancy crowd and sumptuous food.
Watching a play at Prithvi theatre or watching a movie at Gaiety Galaxy?
My dream as an actor has been for a play of mine to open at Prithivi! That feeling of hearing your audience breathe in close proximity, queue up outside and be part of a makeup room which has been home to stalwarts is unquestionably the greatest high I have ever had as an artist.
Favourite place in Mumbai?
Marine Drive! Reminds me of good old Bombay, growing up in Colaba and later spending quiet date nights there because you could find quiet spots!
The Mumbai lingo you use the most?
Chuta paisa Dhya! Is a constant reminder of my college days when the conductor would always scream this.
What do you love most about the city?
The rains, its magnanimity and its people!
