This year, I will be celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with my reel and real-life families as my bond with the Kuch Rang family has grown immensely during the past few years. Other than that, we will bring Bappa at my mother's home and plan to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with a lot of excitement and joy. May Ganesh JI purge our lives of all sorrows, tensions, and evil, replacing them with love, success, and happiness. I wish you everyone a wonderful Ganesh Chaturthi

This time, we will be celebrating the âGanpati special' episode with none other that Sanjay Dutt and, we all are very excited to create festive vibes on the sets. Also, when it comes to celebrating the festival at home, like every year, this year too I will be making Bappa's moorti on my own. I am glad that people have started to take this initiative to go ecofriendly while celebrating our festivals. I hope that Bappa will make us free of all the troubles that hold us back. May we all learn to love rather than hate, to accept rather than discriminate.

I recently shifted to getting home an Eco friendly Ganpati and keeping in mind the current scenario, my visarjan will also happen at home itself. Like every year, this year too I will be making prasad and chadoing bhog by myself, and calling home a limited number of friends for aarti and ganpati lunch.

Like the last 2 years, our Ganesh Chaturthi plans remain the same this year as well. We will be offering prayers and doing an evening aarti for our Bronze Ganpati that we have at home. Festive sweets like modak and other types of prasad are made at home which the kids absolutely relish. On the 5th day we will be doing a mini visarjan at home itself. Due to the pandemic we are refraining from stepping out too much during the festival, but at the same time ensuring we keep it's essence alive by continuing the tradition.

For our family Ganesh Chaturthi is all about spiritual and physical togetherness. It's a great time to spread positivity & happiness. We keep Ganapati for 10 days and preparations include decorations and cooking all meals and modaks at home, However this time I will be shooting for a few days in the middle so I'll be missing some of the prayers and yummy modaks. Due to COVID it's difficult to have guests over for darshan so it's going to be a very intimate and private family affair.

We started bringing Ganpati bappa home after I got married, this year will be our 6th year. I always wanted to do it since I shifted to Mumbai. Since we decided to get Ganpati Bappa home, we make sure we don't do the regular plaster of Paris moorti or any other form which is not biodegradable. We have been bringing a mitti moorti cast into a beautiful idol and painted a little bit. Of course we'll be taking all possible measures of safety when people come over. Less people, social distancing, masks and temperatures checks will be done. We know it's a Maharshtrian festival but we have given it our own Punjabi swing and we do everything from Amritsari chole to stuffed Kulchas to all kinds of chats, due to the pandemic we'll be making all the food at home.

My family avoids buying a moorti, we make it at home. This year too I will make a clay idol of Lord Ganesha at home. I don't believe in polluting nature so I prefer eco-friendly Ganesha. This Ganesh utsav I hope we can control negative emotions like anger and jealousy and conserve nature by not polluting rivers.

Most of my friends bring Lord Ganesha home so I enjoy visiting them on the first or third day of the festival. It's a wonderful time of the year. It's such an auspicious time and Ganeshji is rightly called Vignahartha. So I hope this year everyone gets out of misery and all problems in your lives disappear.

My whole family is a big devotee of Ganpati Bappa and, we all celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi with immense love and joy. From welcoming Bappa to our home to making modaks and celebrating this beautiful festival with our loved ones, we enjoy every bit of it. This year, I hope the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi brings forth abundant happiness and success in all our lives and I pray that Bappa continues to shower us with all his love and blessings.
