Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale booked for flouting pandemic norms

Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale`s nuptials were held at a resort in Punjab whose owner reportedly has also been booked as well as the couple’s family members and the guests.

Comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale have been booked for violation of Covid-19 rules during their wedding celebrations in Phagwara, Punjab, on April 26. A video of the ceremony is doing the rounds in which a large gathering is seen present. The newlyweds have also been sharing snapshots of the festivities on social media. Due to the second wave of the virus in Punjab, wedding ceremonies are allowed with a limited number of guests only.

The nuptials were held at a resort whose owner reportedly has also been booked as well as the couple's family members and the guests. The couple has been booked under the Disaster Management Act and section 188 of IPC for violating the official orders. The Punjab police had booked the couple based on a video of their wedding that had gone viral. As per the rules, not more than 10 people can attend any wedding events.

The wedding took place on April 26 in Jalandhar. In the wedding picture, Sanket can be seen putting a jaimala on Sugandha. The actress looks stunning in beige a pink lehenga, while Sanket wears a green sherwani. Mishra, who is also a singer-actor, is best known for mimicking Lata Mangeshkar, and Bhosle for his hilarious imitations of Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt.
