Sidharth Shukla, an actor who was a popular name on television and in films, passed away this morning at the young age of 40. The news shocked the entertainment fraternity and celebrities mourned his demise on social media. His friends and colleagues paid their last respects at Cooper Hospital and at his residence in Mumbai.
Asim Riaz, who participated in Bigg Boss 13 along with Shukla, was spotted at Cooper Hospital. They both were massively popular inside the house and their following and fame hit the roof during their stint in the house.

'Bigg Boss 2' contestant Rahul Mahajan was also spotted at the hospital.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit was also clicked at the hospital. Earlier today, after hearing about Sidharth's demise, he shared a video and expressed condolences. He wrote, "I pay my condolences to the family of actor #SiddharthShukla who died at the age of 40 due to heart attack. His demise is a great loss to the entertainment industry."
Another contestant of the reality show who came to pay his last respects was Hindustani Bhau.
At Sidharth's residence, the media spotted actresses like Shefali Jariwala and Arti Singh. They both were seen arriving together.
Shweta Gulati, best known for television shows like 'Remix' and 'Dil Mill Gayye', too was spotted by the media arriving at the late actor's residence to pay her last respects.
Shukla began his career in showbiz as a model and made his acting debut with a lead role in the television show 'Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na'. He later appeared on shows such as 'Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi', 'Love U Zindagi', but became a household name with 'Balika Vadhu'.
He also participated in reality shows, including 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6', 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7' and 'Bigg Boss 13'.
In 2014, Shukla made his Bollywood debut with the Karan Johar-produced 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' where he had a supporting role.
