Paparazzo Viral Bhayani posted photos of Rakhi and wrote in the caption that she had been hospitalised due to a heart ailment.

Rakhi Sawant is known for her unabashed personality who entertains the audience with her sharp words and antics. After pictures of her lying on a hospital bed surfaced, netizens wished for her quick recovery and well-being.

Talking to Times Now about Rakhi's health, her brother Rakesh Sawant said, "We are disturbed. Jabse humare mom ki death hui hai, tabse Rakhi ko saare uske apne jo publicity le rahe the, jo usko use kar rahe the aur paise kha rahe the, sab uske khilaf ho gaye hai. Usko torture kar rahe hai. Adil, jiske paas ek rupaya nahi tha, woh abhi Rakhi ka paisa khaa ke baitha hai. Usne Rakhi ke saare aas paas ke logon se dosti karke abhi uske khilaf use kar raha hai. Woh bhaagi bhaagi phir rahi hai, Maa ke jaane ka itna saara tension hone ke bawajood, woh media ke saamne aayi. Police ne abhi tak chargesheet nahi di hai taki woh bail na le sake. Saare log usse pareshaan kar rahe hau. Adil police aur media walon ko paise khila kar sab kuch karwa raha hai. Upar wala dekha raha hai. Rakhi ke fans uske saath hai."

Rakesh further said, "Meri behen ko aaj itna tension aa gaya hai ki usko heart ka problem ho chuka hai. Usko iss baat ka sock laa hai ki uske apno ne uske saath gaddari ki. Jo ladkiyon ko koi jaanta nahi tha, aj unko Rakhi ke wajah se log jaan rahe hai. Unko kutta nah puchta tha. Sabki hasane wali Rakhi aaj bed par hai. Bhagwan toh sabse badla lega aur sabko batayega ki haqeeqat kya haii. Maa ke jaane ke baad humara ghar bikhar gyaa. Agar Rakhi ko kuch hua toh inki indagi toh barbaad hogi hi aur desh mein Rakhi ke jo fans hai, woh inn sabko chodenge nahi. Aaj Rakhi ko media, fans aur police walon ki zarrorat hai. Please pray for her. Usa proper operation ho jaaye aur phir se woh media ke saamne hasti khelti aaye. Bas woh hospital se baha aajaye, yahi meri aur meri famiy ki dua hai."

The news portal also contacted Rakhi to ask about her health. She said that she has a heart problem and asked to not call for the next 5-6 days as she needed proper rest.
