Sana Amin Sheikh makes her short film debut with One Night Stand

Television actor Sana Amin Sheikh (Gustakh Dil, Million Dollar Girl, Krishnadasi) and writer-director Shivankar Arora go back a long way. The two have worked together in Mann Kee Awaaz - Pratigya.

Now, Sara has made her short film debut with Shivankar's directorial venture, One Night Stand, which is being screened on his as well as his sister Shipra Arora's YouTube channel, Content Ka Keeda. The film also stars Sushant Mohindru, who was seen in Naamkarann.

Says Sheikh, "Shivankar is a chilled out guy. I worked with him when he was a DOP in Mann Kee Awaaz - Pratigya and he was assisting in direction and photography. Those days, we were just starting off and now, to see him as an independent director is a great feeling. Shipra is one hell of a talented girl; she writes for daily soaps and thinks out-of-the-box. Now that she has created the YouTube channel, Content Ka Keeda, along with Shivankar, proves that she is open to experimenting. Their channel's name is so funky, it says it all," says Sana, who was also seen in films like Singham (2011), Table No 21(2013) and Bamfaad this year.

Talking about how she came on board on One Night Stand, Sana says, "When Shipra narrated the story to me, I found it very crisp. I said yes immediately. It has a catchy title. It is a story which gets completed in one night. The digital platform is providing opportunities to actors to show off their craft; their characters are being noticed, and it helps you get more work."
