Porus is one of the biggest and most expensive series anyone has ever made on Indian TV. Siddharth Kumar Tewary has always been fascinated by India's rich history and mythology and the show has been made with a whopping budget of Rs 500 million. After creating a cult with 'Mahabharat', the director producer has now embarked on new journey with a historical series 'Porus' The series revolves around the man who defended our country against the mighty Alexander with his small army he fought on the banks of river Jhelum, he lost the battle but won the war. This is a story of India's first defender.
