The Indian entertainment industry lost two gems with the demise of Ghanshyam Nayak aka Nattu Kaka of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame, and Arvind Trivedi aka Ravan of Ramayan fame. Fans and fraternity mourned the loss of the talented artists and paid their last respects. Prime Minister Narendra Modi too too to Twitter today and remembered the actors.
"In the last few days, we have lost two talented actors who won the hearts of people through their works. Shri Ghanashyam Nayak will be remembered for his multifaceted roles, most notably in the popular show âTaarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.' He was also extremely kind and humble," [sic] PM Modi tweeted.
Remembering Arvin Trivedi, he stated that the actor will be remembered for his work in Ramayan for generations of Indians. "We have lost Shri Arvind Trivedi, who was not only an exceptional actor but also was passionate about public service. For generations of Indians, he will be remembered for his work in the Ramayan TV serial. Condolences to the families and admirers of both actors. Om Shanti," read the tweet.

Ghanshyam Nayak passed away at 76 after battling with cancer for months. He had recently resumed shooting for the comic caper after undergoing chemotherapy for treatment of cancer. He was back on the set after four months and was keen to work as long as he can.
Arvind Trivedi passed away due to cardiac arrest at the age of 82. The last rites took place on Wednesday.
