Mom-to-be Pooja Banerjee shares gorgeous pictures from her baby shower, glows in pink outfit

Pooja Banerjee and Sandeep Sejwal tied the knot on February 28, 2017 and the actress recently announced her pregnancy and said she's due in March 2022. She has now shared some gorgeous pictures on her Instagram account with fans from her baby shower and the actress was glowing in her pink gown.

Talking to ETimes, Pooja said, "Sandeep and I wanted to conceive in 2020, but we put the plan on hold after I met with an accident in 2019 (on Nach Baliye). However, when the second lockdown was implemented, I realised ki yeh toh chalta hi rahega (this will keep happening). We decided not to delay it because we didn't want to become parents at a later stage."

She added, "But we thought of having a baby next year since I was shooting for the show away from home for almost two months due to restrictions imposed in Maharashtra and travelling."

And in an exclusive interaction with mid-day.com, talking about her plans, she said, "I'm shooting for Kumkum Bhagya and I'm glad that people and society in general are being supportive about women working through pregnancy. The production house wanted me to continue shoot and not leave the show. I've been getting care from the production people, I used to work 12 hours when possible that will be reduced. We are three siblings and my mother was working till her last month of pregnancy. Acting is a very demanding job, it's not a 9-5 where I get to sit at a desk. But my mother was confident I can pull it off. I was a little apprehensive because your body feels different. I was a ‘weekend baby' my mother used to only visit me on weekends, I used to live with my nani in Uttar Pradesh. My mother worked for an airline in Delhi. So my mother herself was always working and wants me to do the same."
