Juhi Parmar and Hussain Kuwajerwala's Kumkum - Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan holds a strong nostalgic value. Even after 21 years of its release, the television show is fresh in the minds of the audience. Juhi and Hussain went on to star in various projects post-wrapping Kumkum. However, their chemistry as Kumkum and Sumit remains a forever favourite.
Treating fans to a special video, Juhi and Hussain were seen dancing to the Banke Tera Jogi song from Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla's Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani. The actress was dressed in a printed shirt and pants whereas he wore a basic T-shirt and pants. After a transition, Juhi was seen in a yellow saree and Hussain picked up an orange coloured T-shirt and jeans.
Sharing the video, Juhi wrote, "21 Years of Kumkum also means 21 years of our friendship. We met on the sets of Kumkum and the rest is history. The audience saw the chemistry onscreen. But for us it was also our friendship behind the scenes..where we laughed and laughed and had the best time together. We sometimes don't meet for years and even talk on the phone but when we do, it never seems like there's ever been a gap. Its seamless and that's the beauty of our friendship! Same crazy banters, laugh riot and nonstop chatters. Bas aur kya chahiye. Our Tom and Jerry wali friendship started at the same time when Sumit Kumkum became everyone's most loved onscreen jodi. And I hope it remains the same."
