Param Singh celebrates his birthday today
Param Singh, lead actor of shows like 'Sadda Haq', 'Ishq Par Zor Nahi' and web series like 'Holycross' and 'Tadap' celebrates his birthday today. He told mid-day.com he plans to keep the celebrations low-key this year. "My mom has organised a satsang this evening, which my family and a few close friends will attend. Usually, I celebrate my birthday having lunch with family and dinner with friends. I'm not one who goes all out with big parties. Usually I'm not in town, I'm away shooting on my birthdays. This time I'm in Mumbai, so I'm enjoying spending time with friends and family," says Param.
The actor's fans were recently shocked when his show 'Ishq Par Zor Nahi' went off air, making the show trend on social media. "Initially, it came as a shock when we were suddenly informed the show is going off air. Fans made the show trend and we were told we have received an extension of three months and the show would be on air till November. Suddenly to be informed again that the show is going off air was definitely disappointing. I was sad for a day but I'm fine now. I took a break from work and enjoyed a holiday in Leh."
Speaking about what he will miss most about the show he says, "Shooting with Akshita (Mudgal) and all my other co-stars, it was a lot of fun shooting for the show." The actor who starred in web series like 'Tadap' that made news for its bold content says though he is open to work on all platforms be it TV, web or movies, he isn't keen on doing bold scenes anymore. "It's not something I regret but I definitely don't want to do such scenes if they are not required. Sometimes you are given a different brief and what comes out on screen is very different. That's something I wouldn't want to do again."
Interestingly, Param is one of the few actors who has been keeping away from social media platforms like Instagram. "I think I like peace and social media can be stressful, I don't know what to post about and what to write," he says with a laugh.

Being a known face now, how does he handle all the attention? "I don't put in any effort, honestly. I'm still the normal person I always was; I haven't changed. During my holiday in Leh it's only when I would see people pointing towards me or approaching me for pictures that I would remember people recognise my work."
Fans are still waiting for season 3 of his show 'Sadda Haq' that gave him and co-star Harshita Gaur immense popularity and the actor says he would be happy to take on the role of Randhir Singh Shekhawat if the opportunity arises.
