The Indian showbiz industry woke up to the shocking news of actor Sidharth Shukla's death on Thursday. Colleagues and friends expressed their grief on Twitter.
Sidharth was 40. The actor passed away in Mumbai's Cooper Hospital.
Akshay Kumar wrote- "Really sad to know about the passing away of #SiddharthShukla. I didn't know him personally but it's heartbreaking to know of such a talented life gone so soon. Om Shanti."

Riteish Deshmukh tweeted- "Shocked beyond words!! Gone toooooo soonâ¦. Condolences to his family, loved ones. - He was loved by millions. #SiddharthShukla you will be missed - rest in peace brother. Om Shanti."
Actor and comedian Sunil Grover tweeted: "Shocked and sad to know about Sidharth Shukla. Gone too soon. Prayers. Rest in peace.".
Kapil Sharma also penned a note on his Twitter account to express shock and disbelief.
Actor R. Madhavan wrote: "Heartbreaking and tragic. Rest In Peace brother. Just don't have words to express my anguish." [SIC]
Manoj Bajpayee also tweeted on the actor's unfortunate demise.
