Ghanshyam Nayak, aka Nattu Kaka of `TMKOC`; picture/Hitlist
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's (TMKOC) beloved Ghanshyam Nayak, aka Nattu Kaka, passed away on October 3 in Mumbai. The 77-year-old actor was battling cancer since December. He had recently resumed shooting for TMKOC after undergoing chemotherapy.
TMKOC's cast members like Munmun Dutta who plays Babita Iyer in the show, Mandar Chandwadkar who plays Atmaram Bhide, Tanuj Mahashabde who plays Krishnan Iyer, and many others, paid tribute to the thespian on social media.
Munmun Dutta shared a few pictures with late Ghanshyam Nayak on Instagram and wrote, "The first picture is the last time that I met him. His fighting spirit and inspirational words, in the face of adversity , is what I remember the most. He said 2 shlokas in Sanskrit to tell us how his pronunciation is absolutely perfect and clear after recovering from chemo and we gave him a standing ovation on the set..."

Mandar Chandwadkar shared a video on his Instagram story featuring Nattu Kaka where he can be seen cutting a cake. Chandwadkar wrote, "RIP You will be missed #Ghanshyam Nayak."

Sunayana Fozdar, who plays Anjali Mehta in TMKOC, shared a photo of Nattu Kaka on her Instagram story alongside folded hand emojis. Amit Bhatt, who plays Champaklal in the show, also shared a condolence message on his Instagram story.
Bhavya Gandhi, aka Tipendra Gada of TMKOC, shared a photo with Ghanshyam Nayak on Instagram and wrote, "I will miss you Ghanshyam kaka" with a heart emoji. Sonalika Joshi, aka Madhavi Bhide, also shared a photo of the late actor on her Instagram story.
In December 2020, it was reported that Ghanshyam Nayak was unwell. The senior actor was having severe uneasiness in the glands of his neck and had undergone surgery for the same. Fans of TMKOC will always remember him fondly as Natwarlal Prabhashankar Undhaiwala, aka Nattu Kaka.
