Exclusive: Akshay Kelkar reveals his love for besan ke laddoo on Diwali

What have you shopped for this Diwali?
Due to shoot schedules, I didn't really get to shop much but have shopped few clothes. From childhood till now, it has become a tradition now to shop for new clothes specially for Diwali.

What are the Diwali traditions at your home?
First of all, Lord Krishna pooja! Because we believe Lord Krishna killed the demon Narakasura on this day, and hence we celebrate Diwali. Then, light so many diyas, hang kandil. Beautiful rangoli and so many sweets, chakli etc.

What are the sweets you love gorging on during Diwali?
Besan ke ladoo! I can't miss them at all! Most favourite part of Diwali.

What's your favourite part of the festival?
I love this festival because there are lights everywhere and it feels very amazing. I love to to wake up early in the morning. And then "abhyang snaan" with the specially made cosmetic paste. Get ready with new traditional clothes and meet friends and have fun!
