Your favourite makeup product?
My favourite makeup product is lip balm. I don't like much makeup but I always have a lip balm with me and I like tinted ones. I like the ones from The Body Shop and Sebamed.
The first makeup product you bought as a teenager?
My first makeup product would be from Lakme or Maybelline. I bought Lakme lipsticks initially; I liked to apply lipstick a lot but not daily. I used makeup products only whenever there was some event in the college. I applied to moisturizer, sunscreen and lip balm that's it, nothing more than that. The products which I bought during college was compact powder, kajal and lipstick only for special occasions.
The product you wanted to steal from your mom or sister?
My mom has a good collection of lipsticks. I like it but she doesn't use it much and if I like any of her lipsticks I just take it from her. The first lipstick I wore was from my mother's collection.

Your skincare routine?
I am very particular about my skincare now. I was not, till college or when I started working. After becoming an actor I started taking care of my skin because we apply a lot of makeup. I have acne-prone skin so I need to take care and my routine starts from morning. I wash my face first then I moisturize and apply sunscreen and lip balm- this is my daily routine. At night I remove makeup first, wash my face before sleeping and put on vitamin C serum, moisturizer and lip balm. I can't sleep with makeup on. If I do, I have acne on my face the next day and I can't afford that!
How did you learn to look after your skin and do makeup correctly?
When I started working as an actor, I begun with the daily soaps and we had to be in makeup for twelve to fifteen hours. My skin was badly affected with acne and my skin is very sensitive. I consulted a dermatologist after that, I started taking care of the skin and follow my skincare routine. I wash my face twice or thrice a day and drink a lot of water. I learnt makeup correctly from the makeup artists who usually works on our serial sets and I observed how they apply products on my face. I observed them and started doing my own makeup. I learnt quick makeup during lockdown. I was getting ready in just five minutes for my online interviews.
The items one will always find in your makeup kit?
In my makeup kit, you'll find nailpaint remover, lip balm, eyebrows plucker, rubber bands, blushes and foundation.
Makeup or skincare goof ups from the past?
I was in Goa for my South film and we were shooting there for ten days near the beach. There was a lot of sun exposure to my skin and it ended up becoming five times darker. I had carried makeup that suits my skin tone. When I returned to Mumbai and went to meet my friends and I applied the same makeup products which I had, it was such a mismatch. I didn't realized how tanned I had gotten and the makeup was looking weird on my face. It was a big goof up. We are exposed to the harsh sun while shooting long hours and sunscreens don't help much.
The makeup trend you wish to try?
I like different kinds of eyeliners but I don't use them much because I believe in doing quick makeup- I'm ready in five minutes. I can't sit for an hour or half an hour for makeup but I like different kind of eyeliners girls do. I scroll through Instagram and see liners on reels everyday. Someday I'll do it!
The makeup product you would never be caught wearing?
I don't like loud makeup. I like subtle makeup, natural makeup. You'll never see me in overdone makeup and I have stopped doing contouring because my skin doesn't need it. You'll never see me with too much shimmer or heavy eyelashes.
The makeup trick that always works for you?
The secret to this quick fix makeup is whatever blush I apply on the cheeks, I use the leftover blush which is on my brush on my eyelids. I just tap it on my both the eyelids that's all! I don't apply eyeshadow at all, that is my quick fix. I use natural blush- peachy pink on my cheeks, that's my favourite shade. In lipsticks too I like the pinkish and nude shades more than dark shades. I don't apply gloss much, I'm more of lip balm person. I like to keep my lips hydrated. I don't use a lot of tools for makeup, if I'm blending my foundation I put a few drops on the back of my hand and mix it well and apply with my fingers. That is very quick, I don't like to take the palate, then put foundation and mix with a spatula. I don't waste my time doing these things. I don't apply liner as it takes time, I apply smudged liner it is very natural and light.
The skincare tip that always works for you?
Before applying makeup you always need to apply primer. You should wash your face before sleeping. Washing your face in the morning and night is mandatory and moisturizing skin is also necessary for glowing skin.
