Anuj Sachdeva, who was last seen in âWoh Toh Hain Albela' is a big-time pet lover and is always concerned and is very sensitive about them. On being asked how one should take care of pets during Diwali he says, "I think the best way to take care of your pets is to keep the anxiety level down. You can also feed them the food on time and make sure to take them out for a walk before the firecracker bursting begins. Another alternate way is to give them specific tablets to keep anxiety levels down after checking with the vet.

On being asked if a soundless Diwali is possible he says, "Well, a soundless Diwali seems to be a little difficult, because we have done everything possible. Explaining, to all the people, it's not just about the pets, I believe it's also about the environment and us as we too breathe in the same air where pollution affects the environment.
Firecrackers should be banned totally from the government side, I think there needs to be strict fines everywhere just like Delhi. Manufacturing units should be stopped too to address the issue at the root level at least one week before Diwali. People always believe that their kids need to see this firecracker and everything else but if kids are made aware about the harmful effects of crackers they will surely understand. Parents should also take an initiative to educate children about why one should be environment friendly and how and also how we all should be lovable and compassionate towards animals and that initiative will contribute to the change". He further adds, " I believe soundless Diwali is not possible in the current scenario, but it's important to make people aware by utilizing social media as a tool. Collectively we need to take a stand, we must coexist and try to take care of the stray animals and everyone around us should always be responsible towards them". Well Anuj your concern for animals is surely noteworthy and even if 1 percent people follow or take inspiration from what you feel it will lead to change for sure!
