Speaking about it Dheeraj says "I had watched Darr and Anjaam when I was in school and I was amazed with SRK's acting. He looked dangerous in both the roles but you couldn't ignore his charm, which made people fall in love with him. That is exactly what I am aspiring to do with my character as Raghav Jindal. I want him to be the most loved grey shade character on TV. And trust me, it's happening. I am getting messages from so many people about this being their most favourite character till date. I firmly feel that when someone gets what they really want the entire universe starts working towards it, like SRK said in Om Shanti Om. Similarly I got what I always wanted to do".
Earlier while talking to Mid-day about his character, Dhoopar had said, "My character is everything I am not. He is absolutely unpredictable. He doesn't think he is ever wrong but goes right ahead and does wrong to others intentionally. He is smart, tech savvy, is able to project into the future, is a perfectionist and expects everyone around him to be perfect too. The show will [explore the subject of] domestic violence."
