Bharti Singh
Comedian and TV show host Bharti Singh has been hospitalised after she complained of severe stomach pain. Singh shared the news of her hospitalisation through a new vlog that she shot from her hospital bed. The doctors, she said, are currently working on treating the same.
In the vlog, Bharti Singh explained how she first suffered excruciating pain in the abdomen but neglected it thinking it was a gastric problem. However, when the pain did not subside, Bharti then visited a doctor. She underwent tests and it was confirmed that she had stones in her gallbladder. In the vlog, she informs her fans from the hospital bed that she is looking visibly weak and says they have performed many tests to check whether it is a food infection or stones. "I am unable to bear the pain. There is a stone in the gallbladder. We felt it was high acidity, but that wasn't the case. The stone that is in the gallbladder has got stuck in a vein; as a result, I am unable to eat anything and I vomit," she said.
In the video, Bharti also gets emotional as she shares that she misses her two-year-old son Gola. She said that she is also not happy disturbing her relatives including her sisters,
"I have asked Haarsh to come a little late at night as Gola sleeps by then. Or else he keeps looking for us both, Mummy and Papa. Gola is two years old, and I haven't slept without him for even a single day. This is the first time, but I will get well soon," she said before wrapping up the vlog.

Bharti's hospitalisation comes days after she opened up about the toxic work culture in the TV industry. During a recent podcast on their YouTube channel, Bharti TV, Haarsh and Bharti were joined by 'Silence' movie stars Manoj Bajpayee and Prachi Desai. They discussed how TV actors used to work for hours without going home or sleeping.
"I've seen directors and creatives suffer heart attacks and health issues due to sleep deprivation. People would drink tea, smoke, eat only set food, and suffer from acidity, but wouldn't be able to control it," Haarsh reflected.
