Arunabh's lawyer, advocate Abad Ponda said, "He has been granted bail, the conditions to the bail are same as the previous interim relief."
On April 7, Arunabh had moved the Dindoshi sessions court to get protection from arrest in the FIRs registered against him. A 26-year-old filmmaker had approached the police following an anonymous blog with the writer identified as 'Indian Fowler' alleging that she had faced sexual harresment by Arunabh. He had then approached the court to seek anticipatory bail. The court initially granted him protection from arrest from April 7 to 16 and had asked him to be present in court on April 17 with conditions that during his interim relief he should be available for interrogations when needed. Arunabh has been questioned several times by the police during the process of investigations after the FIR was filled, sources said.
But the 34-year-old founder of TVF continues to live a life without hindrance, mid-day has learnt. Kumar's close associate says, "He's been going to his office in Andheri East and heading meetings regularly. He also enjoyed an evening with his buddies on Saturday at Khar's Monkey Bar. Last week, Arunabh attended a startup conference in Bandra." The source adds, "The company is looking for a new PR representative to salvage the situation."
