Exclusive! Tejasswi Prakash: I really liked the way Sidharth Shukla had played on Bigg Boss

Tejasswi Prakash, known for shows like Swaragini-Jodein Rishto Ke Sur and Pehredaar Piya Ki, is a contestant on Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 15. Speaking to midday.com, the actress who had received appreciation for her performance on Rohit Shetty's Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, admits Bigg Boss is a different ball game altogether and one can't really prepare for it.

How have you been preparing for Bigg Boss and what will you miss the most when locked in the house?

I haven't really prepared, I will just be myself on the show. I'm not very active on social media but the lack of contact with my friends and family is going to be tough.

How did your loved ones react when you decided to take up the show?

My family and friends were happy. I have been offered the show five times before, but I didn't take it up because I was too nervous. But now that I'm finally doing it they are very happy. They think I will do great on the show, they are way more confident than I am. In fact I'm the one who keeps asking them how they are so confident about my performance!

This time around the house has a jungle theme…

Yes and I'm very nervous about it. Any reality show with Colors and Viacom is so unpredictable. We never really know what they are up to. When I found out the jungle theme, I obviously made my guesses what the show will be like, but I also know none of my guesses will be proven right because they think out of the box. Now I've decided not to think about it and go with the flow.

The audience loved you on Khatron Ke Khiladi which was about physical stunts, how different are you expecting this experience to be considering the fights that happen in the house?

A show like Khatron…requires a certain amount of physical preparation but Bigg Boss is all about mental strength. I'm not sure how one can prepare for that. I'll just take it by the hour and see how it goes. I'll try to be myself and have fun in the middle of chaos.

This time host Salman Khan will also be joined by veteran actress Rekha…

Who isn't a fan of Salman Khan? I really like him. Whenever I see him on Weekend Ka Vaar I really like how he manages the house. Even though I haven't been a regular viewer of Bigg Boss, all my friends are all excited for Weekend Ka Vaar. Not just them, I think the whole country keeps waiting for the weekend more than what is actually happening in the house. I'm looking forward to interact with him and get an insight on how I'm performing in the house.

Any contestants from the previous seasons that you admire?

I really liked the way Sidharth Shukla had played on Bigg Boss. I also really like Rubina Dilaik's performance.

It's been a while since we saw you in daily soaps. After Bigg Boss, is that something you are considering?

I've always been open to work that Involves me acting, no matter what platform it is. I'm more than open to take up a daily soap after Bigg Boss!
