The contestants of the season include Mannara Chopra, Isha Malviya, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt, Aishwarya Sharma, Jigna Vora, Arun Mashetty, Soniya Bansal, Sana Raees Khan, Anurag Dobhal, Munawar Faruqui, Khanzaadi, Sunny Arya, Abhishek Kumar, Rinku Dhawan and Navid Sole. On Bigg Boss 17 day 3, the couples inside the house faced tricky situations.

On Bigg Boss 17 day 3, Bigg Boss took a dig at Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt for seeming confused on the show and not showing enough enthusiasm. As a part of a pep talk to them, Bigg Boss called the couple to a Garden Of Roses set up inside the house. What seemed like a date evening, turned out to be an eye-opener session.

During the conversation at the Garden Of Roses, Aishwarya told Neil that she wasn't feeling good and is dealing with mood swings inside the house. She got emotional while he decoded that some housemates want to separate them. Bigg Boss said, "You both don't know what you guys are doing." Neil told Aishwarya, "You don't know but everyone wants to separate the two of us. Don't let this affect you or don't get bothered by it. I'm just telling you this." She got cranky and said, "Why will I get affected by this? I'm not. I don't know why I have so many mood swings."

It was hinted in the episode that Aishwarya and Neil speculated that Ankita and Vicky are the ones who want to separate them. Bigg Boss sat them down and asked the couple to level up their game plan. Amid this, Vicky spoke to Munawar and other housemates about how the audience loved Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and loved his pairing with Ayesha Singh. He said people looked at them as a real couple and imagined Aishwarya with the parallel lead and not with Neil.

On the other hand, Ankita and Vicky had their own discussion about their relationship. In the episode, the actress said to her husband that he's taking their bond lightly. Ankita was upset with the fact that Vicky isn't living up to the promise of being with her.

While Aishwarya-Neil and Ankita-Vicky faced a difficult day, exes Abhishek and Isha were in a tricky situation. Abhishek, who seems to be still in love with Isha, spoke to Munawar about their relationship. He got emotional. Later in the episode, when Khanzadi picked a fight with Isha and called her the 'ugliest', Abhishek comes to his Udaariyaan co-star's support. He jumped into the fight between Khanzadi and Isha and defended the latter.

Apart from the couples' war, Ankita had a fight with Abhishek in the kitchen. The former also had a brief war of words with Arun.
