Bigg Boss 15: Confirmed contestants, date, theme, time - all you need to know about Salman Khan's show

It's almost time for Bigg Boss 15 and all the drama, fights and controversies that come with it. Salman Khan is once again ready to take his host duties head-on, and we also have names of a few contestants that are confirmed for season 15. So, here's everything you need to know about season 15, right from the date and time of the premiere to the theme of the season.

Date and time

Bigg Boss 15 is all set to premiere on Colors on October 2, Saturday. You can catch the show on Saturday-Sunday at 9:30 pm, and Monday-Friday at 10:30 pm.

Confirmed contestants

As of now, these contestants will be entering season 15 of Bigg Boss -- Shamita Shetty, Pratik Sehajpal, Donal Bisht, Umar Riaz, Nishant Bhat, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Simba Nagal and Afsana Khan. Of these, Shamita, Nishant and Pratik were contestants on Bigg Boss OTT. While Shamita and Nishant were runner-up, Pratik had chosen to quit Bigg Boss OTT by accepting the 'Ticket to Bigg Boss 15' briefcase on the show. A few other potential contestant names that have been floating around are Karan Kundrra, Vishal Kotian, Akasa Singh, Neha Marda, Nidhi Bhanushali and Reem Shaikh.

Theme

Salman Khan, through video conferencing, spoke about the theme of Bigg Boss 15, and a good chunk of it involves a jungle and how the inmates survive in it. Salman said, "The new season of the show will be even more exciting, as the contestants get ready for a wild ride in the jungle with VishwasunTREE accompanying them in their journey. Rest assured this season is about to witness 'dangal' like never before. Buckle up, it is going to be an excursion to remember as it's 'sankat in jungle' this year. There will be 250 cameras looking out for every movement and contestants will be given a small survival kit in the jungle."

Apparently, the contestants are supposed to fight it out in the jungle and survive in order to secure a place inside the Bigg Boss 15 house. Exciting, isn't it? Also, former Bigg Boss winners Rubina Dilaik, Shweta Tiwari, and Gauahar Khan will enter the Bigg Boss 15 house and add even more drama to the season, which will take place over five months.

With everything that has been announced so far, we're sure Bigg Boss 15 is going to be one thrilling rollercoaster ride!
