Ashiesh Roy, known for his roles in popular TV shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Banegi Apni Baat, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, passed away early this morning due to kidney failure. The actor, who had been suffering from kidney ailments for a while now, breathed his last at home. He was admitted to a Mumbai hospital early this year and was undergoing dialysis, and he had reached out to his friends on social media for financial help.
After news of his demise broke, Manoj Bajpayee took to Twitter to write, "Gone too soon Bond #AshishRoy!! Rest in peace my friend."

Besides TV shows, Ashiesh Roy was also seen in films like Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero, MP3: Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Raja Natwarlal, etc.
