The day starts off with chhoti Anu inviting Babuji for her birthday party. Even though Babuji is reluctant because of the presence of Vanraj and Baa, Kaavya says that she will surely come for the birthday. She is seconded by Babuji, Vanraj and even Baa.

Meanwhile, Maaya and Anupamaa are busy deciding about the birthday party of chhoti Anu. While Maaya wants to make a cake for chhoti Anu based on her favourite cartoon character. At the same time, Ankush tells Anuj that he has gathered some information about Maaya, which visibly shocks Anuj. But, he decides to keep mum for the sake of chhoti Anu and her upcoming birthday.

At that time, Maaya recalls chhoti Anu's first birthday and shares a few photographs of her childhood, which makes Anupamaa very happy. Amidst all this, Anupamaa asks Maaya about her past history with chhoti Anu and the reason why she never used to meet her daughter in the orphanage, despite going there! This makes Maaya very emotional.
