Anupamaa Update: Kinjal and Kaavya choose their working pattern, Anuj brings home his best friend Dheeraj without informing Anupamaa

The day starts off with Anupamaa thanking Devika for helping her to impress Anuj. Meanwhile, at the Shah House, when Baa serves breakfast to them, Toshu tells her to prepare some good food for his clients who will be visiting his ‘office', something that Baa doesn't like. That's when Baa sees Kaavya in tiny clothes. And when asked, Kaavya tells her that such attire is a part of her (modeling) job. Left with no other option, a helpless Vanraj makes Baa understand that even modelling is a decent ‘profession' just like other professions.

Amidst all this, Kinjal takes their leave as she has a few meetings lined up. She tells Toshu that, despite everything that had happned, she still had a miniature hope that he will improve. But the day he quit his job to do ‘stupid' business, she lost even that hope about him. Seeing everyone leave the residence without eating her dhokla cake, when Baa asks ‘now who will eat the cake', that's when Samar and Dimpy come and tell her that they will eat it. Seeing Dimpy eat the cake and enjoying it, Baa seems unhappy.

Back home, just as when Anupamaa is eagerly awaiting the return of Anuj from work, there comes Anuj… only to be hugged tightly by Anupamaa who showers him with the most romantic shayari in dim light. While hugging and reciting shayari, spots an unknown person in the house who had accompanied Anuj. When the lights come on, Anuj introduces the ‘unknown person' as Canada return Dheeraj Kapoor, his childhood friend from the society. Turns out that Dheeraj is an extremely happy go lucky person. Amidst all his jokes and jovial moments, he does realize that there is something amiss between Anuj and Anupamaa. When he asks that to Anuj, the latter dismisses that jokingly stating that everything is ok between them.
