The day her fans were waiting for has finally arrived. Ankita Lokhande is all set to tie the knot with beau Vicky Jain in an intimate ceremony today. For the uninitiated, their wedding red carpet event scheduled for last night was canceled due to the rising cases of Omicron.

A statement by their close source read- "Dear friends,

This is to have inform you that the RED CARPET EVENT for Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain's wedding, scheduled for tomorrow, has been CALLED OFF due to rising Covid cases coupled with the suspected Omicron variant outbreak. It's upon us to stay safe. The wedding ceremony of the couple will be an intimate gathering attended by close family and a handful of friends only. We will be eternally grateful to you if you could also inform your dear colleagues about the same. Please do send your best wishes to the couple. They will really value it.

The actress recently shared some stunning pictures of her Mehendi ceremony that are nothing less than a dream. She wrote this as her caption- "The love we share makes my mehndi looks so beautiful… so meaningful… so memorable."

Several photos and videos from their pre-wedding ceremonies including 'mehendi' and 'sangeet' went viral on social media. In a few videos that grabbed eyeballs, she was seen performing beautifully for Vicky at the engagement party.

The actress could be seen decked up in a glittery black ensemble. Her smile reflected all her excitement and happiness. Both of them could be seen hugging each other and sharing the most precious moments with their fans by showing their rings to them.
