Zee TV's top-rated show Kumkum Bhagya and, its widely-appreciated spin-off, Kundali Bhagya have both been audience favourites emerging as leaders in the Hindi GEC landscape. Be it the love story between Abhi (Shabbir Ahluwalia) and Pragya (Sriti Jha), or the heart-warming tale of Pragya's sister Preetha (Shraddha Arya) as she crosses paths with Karan (Dheeraj Dhoopar) and Rishabh (Manit Joura), both the shows have kept viewers entertained with its many twists and turns. And now, as we approach Holi, both shows are all set to raise the entertainment quotient with a two-hour long Holi special where the show's lead actors come together to not only celebrate the festival but also light up television screens with their sizzling romantic equations.
For Kundali Bhagya's Karan and Preetha, their love story will blossom as they confess their love for each other under the influence of bhaang leading to some cute and endearing romantic moments between the couple. Kundali Bhagya's Abhi and Pragya will join in for the festivities as they celebrate Holi together making it memorable for all. To add to the entertainment quotient, Abhi-Pragya and Karan-Preetha will indulge in the traditional Holi fun and games as they play with the Holi colours while grooving to chartbusting music and present special performances.
Commenting on the Holi special, actor Manit Joura said, "Special episodes where we get a chance to perform alongside teams from different shows are always very exciting since we get an opportunity to meet and interact with other actors of the Zee fraternity and present something different to the audience. The change in location also refreshes our mind. Collaborating with the team of Kumkum Bhagya for the Holi special has been an amazing experience. Given the fun that Holi stands for, we took the time to celebrate the festival together and even ate some traditional Holi fare. Shabbir is a true rockstar and I must say that Sriti is an amazing actor to work with. We had a great time shooting this vibrant sequence together, and I hope that the audience will enjoy the Holi maha-sangam episode and continue to support us with their love and appreciation."
