The actress had apparently agreed to appear on Aamir Khan's TV show, but she failed to turn up for the shoot

Aamir Khan has finished shooting for the third season of Satyamev Jayate this month. While Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Kangna Ranaut and Parineeti Chopra have already shot with the actor for their respective episodes, Priyanka Chopra, who was also invited by Aamir to be on the show, did not turn up.

A source close to the show says, "This time around, the show's format will see some changes. In every episode, we will have various celebrities coming in.

Not only will they support a particular cause, they will also sit through the episode and meet the concerned patients/ victims. In keeping with this format, Priyanka Chopra was approached to be the show and she had apparently agreed to make an appearance in one of the episodes. But on the day of the shoot, she did not show up. We were not even informed about the reason behind her absence. We had no option but to go ahead and shoot without her."
It is being said that this season will have only six episodes, so the show will run for one and half months while the time slot will remain the same. "Aamir wanted to complete the shoot before starting work on the promotions of his upcoming film, P.K. He has already finished shooting for the show and all this while, he kept a close watch on how things were panning out. He has asked his show's crew to keep mum about the concept," adds the source.
Priyanka's spokesperson denied the story while Aamir's spokesperson and the channel's representatives were unavailable for comment.
