Tinaa Datta admits to being a religious person

Although her work is very important to her, actor Tinaa Dattaa makes sure to take out time for regular breaks. The actor recently took some time off and headed off to Amritsar with her friends. "I loved Amritsar, the trip was simply amazing. We went to Golden Temple and all I can say is that I was in awe. It is much more beautiful that how people describe it. The carvings on the wall of the gurdwara are so intricate and beautiful.

The sarovar is also so peaceful, despite so many tourists," she says, adding, "I felt a sense on calm and serenity there. I have decided to visit Golden Temple at least once every year. In fact I even read up a little about the history of the gurdwara before I went." The actor was accompanied by her friends Aneri, Moneesha and Kashish. Tinaa adds that the trip was superb. "We are very close friends and the trip was amazing.

We saw all the popular tourist spots in Amritsar and shopped till we dropped. It was amazing," she says. The four of them also helped themselves to traditional Amritsari delicacies and took fun pictures to capture memorable moments. Tinaa is currently seen in Siddharth Kumar Tewary's Karamphaldata Shani as Dhamini and it is her first mythological show.
