After surviving the choppy waters in the 'Bigg Boss' house for 105 days, Shilpa Shinde emerged as the winner of the show. The actress' ex-beau, Romit Raj Prasher, who was elated with this news, took to his Twitter account to share his happiness. He wrote, "Most deserving & Best Contestant Wins Tonight with all the love & unconditional support of #Shilpians God bless #BB11 #BiggBoss11 #BiggBossFinale #BB11Update #ColorsTV #Fans #BiggBoss #BB11Finale #ShilpaShinde #Shilpa #heartiestcongratulations (sic)."

Romit was assured that Shilpa would emerge as the show's winner. On January 13, the 'Bigg Boss' contestant was trending on Twitter. Excited about it, Romit had written, "Thankyou Fans & well wishers u r truly supporting the Best among the rest!! Not only this, the 'Maayka' actor has been in constant favour of Shilpa. Recently, during one of the polls on Twitter, Shinde's fans went on to even troll Romit. To which, Romit gave the best reply. He said, "You are right !!!! She is the most beautiful woman for me.... Angel in my life (sic)."

Romit and Shilpa have worked together on the Television show 'Maayka' and were all set to tie the knot in 2009. However, things went kaput between them and they called off the decision of getting hitched.
